Through the Wrong Door

The Wrong Door
San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, México

Pursuing the moon,
I stumbled through the wrong door—
only shadows there!

I love the way the shadows changes the tones of the wall.

I always love the native southwest "enchilada red," although, I'm never sure of the russet red's name. What we call it.

Love the simplicity of forms in this photo. And the red!

The doorway has a wonderful ambience! Love those rocky steps!

The doorway has a different look - eerie and almost abstract with the shadows, paint and red door - quite artistic!

Interesting that the steps seem as high as the door at quick glance- illusion- lovely fading red.

when we lived in Singapore in the university campus, one of the apartments were 5 storeys, and if you forget the floor you have walked up the stairs, you can easily go to the wrong door. in another, we were in a chain, go to the wrong building, you are at the wrong door.
