Lingering flower
Like swirling soft tissue folds
Smudged with lipstick bliss

Whimsical creature,
You’ve such a long nose!
Does it chagrin you?
It must, I suppose.

Where do you keep it
When you lie abed?
In a container
Or wrapped round your head?

Whimsical creature,
If I had your snout,
Surely I’d never
Go out and about!
