On the Move???

A couple of weeks ago, I wandered an inner suburb of Melbourne called Moorabbin.
I found this outside the Kingston Arts Centre on the main road through Moorabbin.
I wasn't sure if this was a temporary or permanent arrangement.
It just seemed quite odd, supported by two pot plants.

Desert Rubies

Cholla cactus, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Southern California

Cactus Maiden, sharp of thorn,
How I wish that you were shorn
Of each deadly barb and lance—
Then I’d ask you out to dance!
