I'm Different!

Squeezed into this huddle of white and blue boats at Blairgowrie on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula is one boat featuring some red.
As it is a search and rescue boat, being different is probably a good idea!

I need to be seen
I need the brightness of red
I'm here to help you

Well spotted :)

The US Coast Guard uses a similar color scheme on its ships and boats, more toward orange - the boats can be more easily seen in foggy or stormy conditions...this rescue boat you found may be small, but very mighty when boats are in distress...

Rescue boats comes in all shapes and sizes, only one thing in common, they are red.
Maybe we should all wear red sometimes to lend a helping hand?
